An early silent film entitled "'King' and 'Queen,' the Great High Diving Horses" (1899) features Professor Holloway's wonderful horses. The Biograph film made at Paul Boyton's Sea Lion Park at Coney Island, shows the trained horses diving into the water from a platform 35 feet high.

The act was later taken up by Doc Carver and his daughter-in-law, Sonora Webster Carver, who did the act beginning in the 1920's.(See also Beasts)
