This image is from a 1947 Real Photo Postcard of this ellusive performer with his nurse and helper, known from most sources as simply "Mr. Maurice". Born in 1893 in Iowa, he was normal until age 10, when according to Kobel "he started to turn to stone from the bone outward." He listed his home address in 1947 as 2261 Champ Street, Denver, Colorado. Was with Gooding Greater Shows in 1950.
