Landon Middlecoff, "Kentucky Giant Boy"

Middlecoff was a 7' 6" giant known as the "Kentucky Giant Boy".
One of 12 children, the rest of which were all of normal height,
Middlecoff was born in Tennessee, and moved to Kentucky soon after birth.

According to his pitch book, Life History and Travels of Landon Middlecoff: The Kentucky Giant Boy, published in 1881, at the age of 19 Middlecoff weighed 208 pounds, and could lift with ease 250 lbs with either finger of right or left hand. Middlecoff also claimed a dead lift of 1150 lbs, making him a very strong giant indeed.

Middlecoff reportedly died of consumption in 1885.
